International Award - TEGV

NComputing's Go Green Innovation award recognizes companies who have demonstrated leadership by utilizing information technology solutions that support sustainable initiatives. NComputing's desktop virtualization solution is not only helping companies to achieve their social responsibility with regard to reducing e-waste materials in their environment but also increasing efficiency and productivity by reducing computer costs, operational costs, and energy costs.

TEGV has evolved to be Turkey’s most widespread Non-Governmental Organization operating in the field of Education. NComputing has provided TEGV with a solution that addresses its infrastructure issues, reduced time spent on maintenance issues, and offers significant savings in operating and capital costs. For instance since the deployment of the NComputing desktop virtualization solution, TEGV has calculated a 77% reduction in energy consumption resulting in significant electricity cost savings. In addition, the NComputing solution has created a greener institution for TEGV, simultaneously cutting costs and achieving environmental goals. The extended use of green technologies at TEGV is driving awareness to the students regarding the benefits derived from an eco-friendly lab.

TEGV has future plans to extend the use of NComputing technology to its Education Parks, Learning Units, and Mobile Learning Environments throughout Turkey.
